FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Do you work outside Fundão?
Yes. Our studio is in Fundão and we work in different regions of Portugal and on selected international projects. Visits and on-site involvement depend on scope and location.
Can I appoint BORAGUI for design only?
Yes, when this is appropriate for the project. The proposal sets out deliverables, reviews and responsibilities.
Do you carry out construction work?
We are not a general contractor. We coordinate the interior elements, sourcing and installation included in our scope and work with external professionals for architecture, engineering and construction.
When should I contact an interior designer?
Ideally before layouts, lighting, finishes or joinery are fixed. Early involvement creates more opportunity to coordinate the interior and avoid late changes.
What is the difference between interior design and interior decoration?
Interior design considers how a space is organised and how it functions, including layout, materials, lighting and furniture. Interior decoration focuses on the composition of the space through furnishings, colours, fabrics and decorative pieces. At BORAGUI, we bring both together in a coherent design, with the scope and procurement defined in the proposal.
